Came home 3 weeks ago tomorrow. It's been tough, but i'm starting to come around. Went to a clinic appointment on Monday. Dr. Book says that things look great. Kidneys are almost back to normal. Liver numbers are within normal range. I saw Dr. Meyers as well and she thinks its time to do a skin-graph. We are supposed to meet with a plastic surgeon next Monday. I'm getting stronger everyday. And, my mental status is starting to get back to normal. Hopefully things will get back to normal soon.

It's My Birthday
Yesterday was my birthday and it was an ok day. I'm still not wanting to respond to anybody, but things are starting to look better. Mom and dad, Papa and Grandma Lora all helped to put together a successful birthday party for me. It seemed to lift my spirits to see all the friends, family, nurses and doctors come in to see me. That means alot. Dr. Meyers and Dr. Vanderworf came and had some cake after they finished another liver transplant. I guess that makes me important. The doctors are talking about trying to send me home on Tuesday after they take the dialysis catheter out on Monday. I am excited to go home.

Day 34 Post Liver Transplant
I Went to the floor today, But i'm still not very excited anyway. I still am acting a little depressed still, but the doctors think it might be because of some of the medications i am on that they are going to stop anyway. Cassie is coming home tomorrow from her vacation, I am excited to see her. I've been off dialysis for six days now and the doctors think that my kidneys are going to recover and I won't need it anymore. Hopefully i can go home soon.

Day 33 Post Liver Transplant
I got to go outside today. I seem to be a little depressed, but going outside seemed to lift my spirits a little. Doctors were going to send me to the floor today, but they didn't have enough room for me on the team. Hopefully I will be able to go tomorrow.
